Wedding Policy

Dear Valued Customers,

We wanted to take a moment to inform you about our important catering reception policy, aimed at providing you with greater flexibility and peace of mind during the planning process.

Understanding that unforeseen circumstances and evolving preferences may arise as you organize your special day, we have our policy to allow for easier modifications and adjustments to your catering reception details for both parties.

Key highlights of our catering reception "change policy":

  1. Due to the Caterers clock starts as soon as the first consultation begins with client. "Initial deposit" is part of the caterer and client binding contract.  "Initial Deposits" are "NON-REFUNDABLE".  Commitments and time are incurred costs well in advance of the event date. The Caterer pricing includes purchasing ingredients, securing rentals, hiring staff, and allocating resources specifically for a particular event. If a client adjust, cancels or requests a refund, the caterer may have already invested time, effort, and expenses that cannot be recovered.

  2. If the client makes any adjustments or changes to invoice "60 Days" before the Event date to the "menu, supplies, decor, venue, date, time or theme" for that event are subject to as follows: After the "initial deposit" has been solidified or has been agreed-upon by the "initial deposit payment". The Caterer will retain 50% of cost on the "final balance due " or "individual itemized changes" occur "60 Days" before the Event. This will cover the caterers' costs and potential losses.

  3. Final Payment must be paid by "invoice date". Due to rising costs of ingredients, labor expenses, inflation impacting our business a 5% daily increase will accrue after the invoice date.

  4. Date Change Flexibility: We recognize that unexpected situations may require you to alter the date of your wedding reception. As such, we have extended our policy to allow for one complimentary date change, subject to availability. This ensures that you can reschedule your event with minimal stress or financial impact. Within one year of the initial date and NON-REFUNDABLE INITIAL DEPOSITS. Full payment must be taken care of before the next event scheduled.

  5. Venue Change Accommodation: Should you need to change your venue for any reason, our policy now allows for seamless accommodation of venue changes. We will work closely with you to ensure a smooth transition and coordinate with the new venue to deliver our catering services efficiently. There will be an adjustment in the cost of catering due to the travel and accommodation.

  6. Guest Count Adjustments: We understand that guest counts may fluctuate as your wedding date approaches. There will be an adjustment in the "final balance". This flexibility allows you to provide us with the most accurate headcount, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all attendees. Number may go up, but they cannot be adjusted down. For the following reasons below.                                                    Commitments: Caterers typically make financial commitments based on the initial number of guests provided by the client. These commitments include purchasing ingredients, staffing requirements, and other resources needed to meet the expected demand. If the reception numbers decrease, the caterer may face financial losses as they would have already incurred expenses based on the original guest count.

  7. Planning and Preparation: Caterers engage in detailed planning and preparation processes for each event, considering factors such as menu design, equipment, and staffing needs. These preparations are often based on the initial guest count provided by the client. If the numbers decrease significantly, it can disrupt the caterer's plans, resulting in inefficient resource allocation and potential food wastage.

  8. Supplier and Vendor Coordination: Caterers work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure the smooth execution of an event. This coordination includes ordering the necessary quantities of ingredients, coordinating rentals, and securing other event-related services. If the guest count decreases, the caterer may face challenges in adjusting these arrangements, potentially leading to logistical difficulties and additional costs.

  9. Impact on Pricing: Catering prices are often determined based on the expected number of guests. Adjusting the guest count downward may result in a disproportionate decrease in revenue for the caterer, potentially affecting their ability to cover fixed costs and maintain profitability.
It's important to note that each catering business may have its own policies and considerations. While some caterers may be flexible in accommodating small decreases in guest count, larger decreases may have a significant impact on their operations and financial viability. It's recommended that clients carefully review the terms and conditions outlined in the catering contract and communicate any changes in guest count as early as possible to avoid misunderstandings and potential financial implications.

  10. Open communication between the client and caterer is essential. In cases where unforeseen circumstances arise, it's advisable to discuss the situation with the caterer to explore potential alternatives or find a mutually beneficial resolution.
Menu Customization: We appreciate the importance of personalizing your menu to reflect your unique tastes and dietary preferences. Our updated policy allows for menu customizations up to 60 days prior to the reception, giving you the opportunity to tailor the culinary offerings to your desires.

  11. Enhanced Safety Measures: Your well-being and that of your guests remain our top priority. In light of recent events, we have implemented enhanced safety measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable catering reception experience. These measures include increased sanitation practices, modified service styles, and adherence to local health guidelines.
